Trailer for the new Blur documentary, No Distance Left To Run, which documents the band’s reunion earlier this year. This actually looks really beautifully shot.

on bands reforming and then making new music: well, blur never *technically* split, i don’t think, did they?  anyway, i hope they stay true to what albarn says: “let’s get the band back together ooone mooore tiiiime!”.  that would be a class act.  blur never made a bad album.  they were really, really good.  and with those fantastic shows they seem to have had a healing and come out of it as friends again.  so it’d be nice if they do indeed do nothing more as blur.  work together again, certainly, but it doesn’t need to be as blur.  let that be a thing.  this film looks like a fine epitaph.
